Lofalk Advokatbyrå was founded in 2006 in order to assist companies with financial difficulties. We are Sweden’s first boutique law firm within corporate restructuring, financing and insolvency law and our practice extends to cross-border restructurings.

As administrator or liquidator we provide legal advice and support to a wide range of businesses. Lofalk benefits from many years of experience and broad expertise within our practice areas and comes recommended by several international ranking organisations, such as Chambers and Partners (Chambers Global 2010), Who’s Who Legal (Insolvency & Restructuring) and Legal 500.

Lofalk has successfully acted as advisor in corporate restructurings, from public limited companies to businesses within the entertainment field, multiple retail chains, tourism, public relations and advertising. Some of the more high-profile corporate restructurings in which we have acted as administrator include SAAB Automobile Aktiebolag, Klippan AB (publ) and Klippan Mölndal AB.

Additional liquidity and new, long-term financing are vital to companies with financial difficulties. Through our extensive circle of contacts with Swedish and foreign banks, funds, institutions and financial advisers, we are able to act promptly and evaluate the possibilities on a case-by-case basis. Lofalk remains independent, however, and is not linked to any financial institution.

Lofalk understands that communication is of utmost importance. We believe that it is one of the critical factors to success, particularly in corporate restructuring. Both clients and suppliers are vital to the success of a corporate restructuring. We fully appreciate the need to explain the reconstruction process properly. We further understand that way in which the process is described in the media can affect the outcome.
